During 22 to 30 September 2019, the Training workshop for Ecuador on Integrated Farming and Marketing was successfully delivered in Changsha, Hunan Province. Five participants from Ecuador, including two MAG technicians, two lead farmers and one WFP Ecuador staff participated the training. The training course was designed by HAU based on project requirements, with inputs from WFP colleagues from Ecuador, Panama, Rome and China. Lectures, hands-on training and field trips were arranged to expose participants to techniques of rice planting and animal feeding under the integrated rice production system.
