During 22 to 29 December 2019, Sri Lanka Project's Training on Strengthening the Resilience to Climate-Relate Shocks was unfolded in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province.

 

12 farmer leaders, government officers from Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Finance, Economy & Policy Development and regional agricultural authorities, expert from research institutions and WFP Sri Lanka Office participated the training. The training course was organized by the Centre of International Cooperation Service and Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Science, Nanjing Institution of Agricultural Mechanization etc. Within-house lecture, field visit and on-site demonstration, the participants were exposed to China's technology andexperience in post-harvest management, farmer's market access and rural e-commerce.
