The Agricultural Hi-Tech Forum in Yangling, Shaanxi Province was convened on 22 October, 2020. Dr. Qu Sixi, Representative/Country Director of WFP China Office, and Dr. Yan Jia, Programme Policy Officer, participated in the forum. The Letter of Intent (LOI) among the ESCAP-CSAM, WFP and the Administrative Committee of Yangling Agricultural High-Tech Industry Demonstration Zone was signed during the Forum. The LOI focuses on the promotion of innovative and proven sustainable agricultural mechanization technologies and practices through technical assistance and sharing of expertise based on the South-South Cooperation approach engaging other developing countries, least developed countries, or economies in transition where possible.
