Policy Dialogue: UN China’s Experience in Strengthening Food Systems amid the Response to COVID-19 was held on 11 December, 2020 both online and in-person. The Policy Dialogue was co-hosted by interested UN entities. The UN entities engaged with their Chinese partners, including government agencies, academia or leading think tanks to present the relevant actions taken in China to strengthen food systems and ensure food security amid the pandemic. Dr.Qu Sixi participated in the Dialogue and delivered a keynote speech. Dr. Qu believes that a resilient food system secures people’s health and food access by all. However, there is a long way to go to achieve global food security and zero hunger. He also pointed out that China’s experience in food system management can benefit more developing countries.
