International Forum on Poverty Governance and Development towards Modernisation was held in Nujiang, Yunnan Province on 18 May, 2021. The event, attended by some 150 participants, including diplomats, government officials and scholars from 18 countries and 4 international organisations, aimed to draw experience from China's poverty alleviation, promote international cooperation on poverty reduction and rural development, and advance sustainable development towards modernisation. At the forum, Dr. Qu Sixi shared WFP's vision for poverty reduction for a world 

without hunger.
