2021 Global Rural Development Forum was held on 19 October in Beijing with joint organisational effort by WFP, FAO, IFAD, China Internet Information Centre, and International Poverty Reduction Centre in China. At the International Seminar on Global Poverty Reduction Partnership, a subforum, Mr. Stanlake Samkange, Senior Director of WFP Strategic Partnership Division, delivered a keynote speech and Mme. Maha Ahmad moderated the panel discussion on innovative approaches for agriculture and rural development from China. The seminar witnessed the launching of the third call for Global Solicitation on Best Poverty Reduction Practices.
