NIE Fengying, Deputy Director General and Researcher of the Agricultural Information Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. 

Prof. NIE has been committed to the research and study in food security, animal husbandry economy, international agricultural information for a long time. She has led and engaged into more than one hundred research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Science and Technology, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, the World Food Programme (WFP) of the United Nations, the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and Winrock Fund. Prof. NIE has published more than 140 papers and six books.
