In 2016, the transfer payment fund comanaged by MoA and Ministry of Finance reached 253.1 billion yuan, increasing by 2.8 billion yuan compared with 2015. 

Firstly, agricultural support and protection subsidy reached 144.24 billion yuan, which mainly combined direct subsidy for planting grain, comprehensive subsidy for agricultural materials, and crop fine breed subsidy to agricultural support and protection subsidy, and focused on supporting arable land soil protection and grain moderately scale operation. 

Secondly, agricultural machinery purchasing subsidy reached 23.75 billion yuan.

Thirdly, modern agricultural production and development fund reached 5.03 billion yuan, which mainly supported livestock and poultry fine breeding and standardized breeding, base cow group expanding, southern are modern grassland farming construction, standardized and scale fishery breeding, high-yield high quality alfalfa, farmers cooperatives demonstration construction, and primary, secondary and tertiary industry integration in rural areas. 

Fourthly, agricultural technology promotion and service subsidy reached 15.35 billion yuan, which mainly supported grass-root agricultural technology promotion system reform and construction, green development and high-yield high efficiency building, horticultural plants standardization construction, agroproducts initial processing at places of origin, dry farming agricultural technology promotion, soil testing formula making and fertilizer application, comprehensive treatment of underground water over exploitation in Hebei Province, grain and soybean rotated planting, farmers' training, and major agricultural technology promotion etc. 

Fifthly, agricultural resources and ecological protection subsidy reached 23.42 billion yuan, which mainly supported grassland ecological protection reward, arable land quality protection and improving, comprehensive treatment of heavy metal pollution in Hunan Province, changing grain into feed crops, and fishery resources protection and fishermen industry shifting etc.

Sixthly, animal epidemic prevention fund reached 6.08 billion yuan, which mainly supported immune vaccine, major animal compulsory immunization, culling and harmless treatment of dead animals during breeding, harmless treatment of dead pigs during breeding, and grass-root animal epidemic prevention work etc. 

Seventhly, fund subsidy for confirmation, registration and certification of rural land contracting and management rights reached 6 billion yuan. Eighthly, agricultural production disaster relief fund reached 3.49 billion yuan, which mainly supported pesticide, bactericide and fertilizer mix for wheat, unified prevention and control for diseases and pests, and emergency disaster relief etc. Ninthly, diesel subsidy in fishing industry reached 24.02 billion yuan.
