A Joint Webinar on Exchange and Learning on Improving Value Chain to Support Sustainable Food System was held on December 16 and 17, 2020 both offline in Brazzaville and online.

The exchange and learning allowed to take full advantage of the successful experiences in the processing and improving cassava value chain process with its various derived-products and their contribution to reducing hunger and malnutrition among African populations through supporting their local economies and diversifying their food systems. Ms. Maha Ahmed, Deputy Country Director, WFP China Office participated in the Webinar and she expressed that the Webinar is a good initiative and signpost for the next step work of WFP China COE to support the cassava value chain development in the Republic of Congo and in other African countries.
