He received the special government allowance from the State Council since 1996 and was certified by the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government as the Top-notch Technical Talents in Shandong Province in 1999. In 2011, he was certified as one of the 2nd Low-carbon Shandong Top Ten Scholars and awarded the 3rd Shandong Low-carbon Meritorious Scholar in 2013. He joined the China-Africa aid projects as the agricultural expert during 2007-2017. He led the key project under the Science and Technology Support Plan during the 12th Five-year period. He worked in the Department of Agriculture of Shandong Province, Steering Group Office of Laizhou Bay Seawater Intrusion Disaster Prevention and Control, and Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Shandong Province as Senior Agronomist, Promoting Researcher, Researcher, and Researcher II respectively. He is currently the Director of the China Soft Science Research Association, Vice Chairman of the Modern Agriculture Research Association of the High-level Talent Promotion Association of Shandong Province, and Vice President of Shandong Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism Research Association.
