China-Africa Rice Value Chain Helps Address Food Crisis

The UN Country Team in China has been helping China's rural transformation with continuous efforts to promote gender equality, infrastructure, employment, economic growth, energy transition, climate change adaption, and biodiversity preservation. 

The World Food Programme (WFP) in China sets an excellent example of this. Under the Framework of South-South Cooperation, WFP Centre of Excellence for Rural Transformation shares China's food production experiences to enhance China-Africa rice value chain and to contributes to SDG 2 on Zero Hunger to approach the 2030 Agenda.
