Multi-spectral Drones Help Spring Farming in Central China

Drones equipped with multi-spectral technology have been adopted in spring field managementIn Huaxian County, central China’s Henan Province. 

As a new agricultural tool, multi-spectral drones make spring farming more accurate, saving labor costs and promoting efficiency.

The wheat planting area in Huaxian County reached 1.81 million mu (about 120,666.67 hectares) this year.

Beneficiary description:

We use multi-spectral technology to analyze the growth of crops, then spray pesticides accordingly. 

It can not reduce the use of pesticides by 30 percent, but also reduce costs and increase production.

The average income of farmers per mu(0.067 hectares) can increase about 120 yuan (about 17.36 U.S. dollars).
