Climate Change;Low-carbon Development

Mr. Zhang Zhiqiang, Ph.D, research associate, National Outstanding Science and Technology Worker,  Director of the Foreign Cooperation and exchange Department, NCSC. He cooperated with the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Science and Technology, National Social Science Foundation, China Association of Science and Technology, Asia Development Bank. He hosted and participated in more than 50 projects, including, recently, research for and drafting of "the White Paper on China’s Policies and Actions on Addressing Climate Change", and the circular economy planning for the twelfth five-year plan.  He presided over research projects such as “Research on the Capability of Addressing Climate Change in the Thirteenth Five-year Plan", “Research on Strategies of Promoting Public Engagement in China’s Low-carbon Development”, "Strategy and Solution Items for the South-south Training on Addressing Climate Change”, "Research on Addressing Climate Change: Training Strategy, Propagation, and Education", and "Research on Promoting Public Engagement in Addressing Climate Change".By request of the climate division, NDRC, he consecutively hosted the "National Low-carbon Day" for four years, has organized the China Corner for the United Nations climate change addressing activities since 2012, and co-hosted a series of events with China News Service and China Renmin University for four years straight.
