Technical Guidance,Rice Value Chain,GSSDC Project

The report summarizes the China-Africa Rice Value Chain Development Project jointly launched by WFP in March 2021. The project, co-sponsored by the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation and the China Centre for International Economic and Technological Exchange, aims to promote South-South knowledge sharing, mutual learning and transfer of post-harvest loss management technology and expertise to strengthen rice value chains through South-South cooperation. Recalling the China-Africa Rice Value Chain Upgrading Seminar held in Beijing in June 2021, it provided a platform for experts and practitioners in the field of rice value chain to discuss how to concretely implement the rice value chain upgrading in China and Africa with partners. The analysis summarizes other work in the project.
