The ReCAMA Regional Sub-directory of Harvesting and Post-Harvesting Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers was released in November 2024.
This publication was developed by the Centre for Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization (CSAM) of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), within the framework of the Regional Council of Agricultural Machinery Associations (ReCAMA).
The Sub-directory was compiled in response to the recognition by ReCAMA members of the crucial role that harvesting and post-harvesting mechanization plays in reducing food losses and strengthening food security across Asia and the Pacific. It builds on earlier ReCAMA knowledge products, including the Regional Directory of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers and Distributors (2021) and the Sub-directory of Conservation Agriculture and Straw Management Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers (2023).
This 2024 Sub-directory presents detailed information on harvesting and post-harvesting machinery and equipment manufacturers in three key ReCAMA member countries—China, India, and Türkiye.
