The ReCAMA Regional Sub-Directory of Conservation Agriculture and Straw Management Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers was released in September 2023.
This publication was developed by the Centre for Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization (CSAM) of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), within the framework of the Regional Council of Agricultural Machinery Associations (ReCAMA).
The Sub-directory was compiled in response to urgent needs identified by ReCAMA members in addressing the issue of straw burning and improving agricultural ecosystems. It builds on earlier ReCAMA knowledge product, the Regional Directory of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers and Distributors published in June 2021.
This 2023 Sub-Directory provides comprehensive and detailed information on manufacturers of conservation agriculture and straw management machinery and equipment across four key ReCAMA member countries: Bangladesh, China, India, and Türkiye.
